Typo - Chp [Tutorial4], Sec [4-Bootstrapping], [unpropoer figure output description]

Closed this issue · 0 comments

  • Chapter number: Tutorial IMS 4 Foundations of inference

  • Section number: 04 - Parameters and Confidence Intervals

  • Other location identifier, if any (e.g., figure number, table number, footnote number, etc.): Visualizing the variability of p_hat

  • Original text: Note that the curves are quite similar in shape. The sampled p^ values are centered around the true (typically unknown parameter) parameter (black); the resampled p^∗ values are centered around the estimate from the very first poll (green). Great work!

  • Suggestion for corrected text: Maybe change the color of the code outputting the figure by specifying scale_color_manual(values = c("black", "green")) ? Please see the attached screen shot for more details.
