Does anyone else get a problem when trying to install the OpneMediaVault because when I am busy running the sudo command it will start to download but then it stops and it deletes the network manager.

OMV uses systemd-networkd and netplan which is why it removes network-manager. Please read the guide that covers all of this - https://wiki.omv-extras.org/doku.php?id=omv7:raspberry_pi_install
