I have composed four basic schema templates for Wikimedia Commons; they are available in this file (copied from my workspace.json and possibly not fully correct json): https://board.net/p/basictemplates-json

Proposed solution

These are the four basic templates that I'd like to present to users by default for Wikimedia Commons editing and upload.

Additional context

They are the most widely supported ones that also correspond to simple Lua-driven Wikitext. For other types of media files I have not encountered community consensus on data modeling yet.

It looks like the pasting in the pad did break the JSON indeed (there are apparently some invalid characters in there). Perhaps it would be easier if you could share the original workspace.json file (privately) or we wait for the export feature and you export your templates as a normal user.
