[Settings] User management, the extra columns may disapear after a search

After setting an extra column in the user management's settings, this column is displayed when returning from the settings form. Nevertheless this column will disappear if doing a "Search" or changing the tool and coming back.
It looks like the variable with the extra columns gets lost at some point.

This behavior was not tested with other tools (if the settings are lost upon doing a search)
