Make Tail Blog optional

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When I don't have a network connection active, the app will keep looking for the Tail Blog on the start page, until I connect to a gear via Bluetooth. I normally have my network connection off, that's why I noticed the loading animation for the Tail Blog continuing.

Describe the solution you'd like
Let the app check if it has a network connection before looking for blog entries.
Additionally, a flag within the settings to deactivate the blog would be nice, as it uses up network traffic which could be problematic if you're on a limited and/or metered Connection.
