Error This Game Is Not Supported!
I try to use this with rocket league for 3d play but i get this error message? it seems very vague and contains no useful information that I can deduce. Does anyone have any information that might help to get things running?
Stormshade was a fork of ReShade while the depth buffer was still disabled when network activity was detected. So ReShade would just disable the depth buffer on online games to prevent cheating.
Stormshade started as a build that has this disabled so the depth buffer could be used in online games. Eventually we added in that it will only work on Final Fantasy 14 to make sure it wouldn't be abused/used to cheat with in other games.
The error you're seeing is essentially the last bit I mentioned. Only Final Fantasy XIV is supported and on other games, it will display that error. Then again, into the future (well, for your post) ReShade 5.x is released that doesn't have this depth buffer disabling stuff going on so you can just use the latest ReShade build. Unless Rocket League is blocking the use of ReShade I suppose.
Ps: Sorry for like 2 year late response, Stormshade is kind of dead and I very rarely check here these days. At least this will help peeps who have the same question and are wondering this in 2023 and onwards :).
