Rating system for resources

Having a rating system (like GitHub's stars) for resources could be useful.
I have implemented this in the form of an externally hosted widget (https://secure.rating-widget.com/). Seems to work well, but it's unclear how restricted the free version will be. Website is unclear and automatically gives access to full features in 7 day trial period. We won't have a lot of traffic or 'votes' to deal with, but if the number of widgets/page is also restricted, we may be in trouble. Since the service is aimed at commercial sites (rating products) the paid plans offer much more than we'd need, so I can always contact them if the free version turns out to be a little bit too restrictive. We'll have to see what happens when the trial period expires.
Seems to still be working.
