installation failed on Debian 10 with cpan

sudo cpan Alien::wxWidgets - failed
a lot of errors

I just managed to install it on Ubuntu using system perl and using mostly system deb packages. It would be nice if you could also try it on Debian and let us know if it works there too. Instructions are in the README file in the repository.
