Try to package and install KES as an extension like RES.

If it works, try to automate it, so new KES versions can be easily turned into updates for the extension. Then pitch it as an alternative in the greasyfork issue.
Whether or not releasing KES as an extension will be considered, this should give me valuable experience in making extensions.
