Detailed description
In case the directory of the subtree doesn't contain / or contains dots or other symbols, the script should adjust it automatically to prevent problems, which will make it much better and easier to manage as well.
Context
This will prevent a lot of problems with the directory names provided and will also make it easier for those that prefer to follow certain rules.
