IMX8M Mini EVK WiFi does not work correctly

Description

When using the WiFi firmware on NXP 8M Mini EVK (it can be installed following the same steps as the PICO-IMX7D: Install Wi-Fi firmware on PICO-PI with PICO-IMX7D SoM devices) there are 2 problems exhibited:

  • The firmware takes upto 50 seconds to load after reaching the login prompt;
  • After loading, it will not automatically reconnect to any WiFi services you have configured.

The workaround for the reconnection issue is to either restart connman (systemctl restart connman) or reconnect to the service in connman (connmanctl connect <service name>)
