[FEATURE] Mod Manager ready installation to deal with pure scripts servers
Closed this issue · 2 comments
Since the introduction of the pure script IC requirement, having a Vaicom installation prevents players from joining popular servers like Hoggit. Other mods can easily be handled by toggling them on and off via a mod manager, Vaicom due to my knowledge however offers no such means for the files it overwrites within the game directory.
Hence I would suggest adding a toggleable option that allow users to not overwrite gamefolder files and rather have those as an export to be installed via OVGME or similar mod managers.
This is already being worked on. We are looking at the ability to turn off the Kneeboard via the config UI. Swapping default for appended files an VV. It's on our radar. I was hoping personally that pure client scripts was ignored by the community server admins, but alas no.
Good to know this is being considered already, thanks for the hard work :D
