"Marvin XD not connected"

In Calibre, the icon for Marvin is always greyed out, and when I click on it, it says that "Marvin XD is not connected." What can I do to get it to connect?

  • Review the iOSRA plugin thread to confirm that it is properly configured with Marvin as the preferred iOS reader application.
  • Before launching calibre, connect your iDevice, then start Marvin on your iDevice. Go to the Library screen, touch 'Get books', then touch 'calibre connector'.
  • Launch calibre. You should see the red Marvin icon as the Device, and the blue MXD icon.

I was trying to connect wirelessly through OPDS.
