bash completion support for srvctl, Oracle versions 12cR1, 12cR2 and 18c.

  • srvctl <command> <object> option1 option2 ...

    12cR1 : Completion work on all commands and on all objects for a command.

    12cR2 : Work in Progress...

    18c : same script for 12cR2.

    Options supported for commands :

    • full completion : work for RAC and standalone servers.
    • single : work only for standalone servers.
    • RAC : work only for RAC servers.
    • todo : todo
    • never : not supported.

Installation

Copy file srvctl_12.1.bash or srvctl_12.2.bash to /etc/bash_completion.d

GRID_HOME & ORACLE_HOME must be in PATH.

You can download file srvctl_12.1.bash or srvctl_12.2.bash with following command :

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PhilippeLeroux/oracle_bash_completion/master/srvctl_12.1.bash
or
