Changing route selection distribution during trip instantiation not working

setting route_choice_power to 1 does not seem to change anything in the route-trip relationship

Setting connections:route_choice_power to 1 instead of the default (2) seems to be working just fine for me. For 1, there number of uniquely used routes per trip is much higher, because of the even distribution.
