how to make a radio-group required?

I am coding a form, which includes a paper-radio-group with some paper-radio-buttons.

I am trying to make a selection in the radio group mandatory, but I don't see a required property in the documentation of paper-radio-group nor paper-radio-button

Is this a missing feature or is this supposed to be implemented another way?
