Project Deprecation

PressJump opened this issue · 4 comments

Starting immediately, the reimaginedreadme project will undergo deprecation following the resolution of any outstanding issues that have not had progress, unmerged pull requests, and general cleanup. Subsequently, the service will be scheduled for shutdown within one month. Additionally, a deprecation notice will be prominently displayed on all embeds prior to the shutdown. Once the shutdown is complete, access to the address will be unavailable as the Vercel instance powering the service will be deactivated.

Merging pull-requests to branch 32-project-deprecation which will undergo general cleanup and deprecation related changes before being merged to main.

Deprecation is on hold until the resolution of issue #27. Any new issues will be closed, irrespective of their complexity, or at my discretion.

Deprecation Notice: The reimaginedreadme project has now undergone deprecation processes and is DEPRECATED with a visible red warning and will shutdown on September 30th 2024 making it no longer usable/visible on your profile.

I am sure I will work on another readme embed as mentioned in other issues which will be completely different to this project in terms of base, framework, structure to make it hopefully possible for long term active maintenance.

Thank you for using ReimaginedReadme.

The instance for the project has now been shut down. Thank you for using reimaginedreadme.
