What is the current behavior?

The Hour Label Displays just 'hr' and the German Hour Format doesn't fit into the selection Circle.

Which versions of Angular, MD2, OS, browsers are affected?

Angular: 4.3.0
MD2: 0.0.24 and 0.0.25
OS: Mac OS 10
Browser: Chrome 59.0.3071.115

I can confirm the problem. It appears in German browsers. But it seems to be the same problem as #250
