There was a network issue

First time user, not sure if this is a client, server or PEBCAK issue :)
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Visit http://docs.pushjet.io/docs/creating-a-new-service
  2. Enter a name (I entered "My Test Service"), leave Icon blank and press "Try it"

This yields the expected response,

{
    "service": {
        "created": 1472734322,
        "icon": "",
        "name": "My Test Service",
        "public": "4a61-e2457a-7236a87472d5-f2ddf-9bcc1478f",
        "secret": "49efb14df6534de537192ec0638e37c1"
    }
}
  1. Go into Android app
  2. Press the Menu Button at the top
  3. Hit the Plus button at the top
  4. Select Enter Token
  5. In the box, enter the public key I received when creating My Test Service, 4a61-e2457a-7236a87472d5-f2ddf-9bcc1478f

App now shows a toast stating "There was a network issue" and does nothing.

Great project idea, but unfortunately can't use it because of bugs. Followed #14 instructions I have setted checkbox to custom server (and network issue resolved), but I still didn't receive updates. Only when I manually pull down screen to refresh - new messages apears. May be this issue related to #16 (last comment). I tryed everything but unfortunately it isn't working :(

@Mechazawa can you update Android store APK, please? Or give some ideas how to resolve it.

I'm seeing the same issue as @anakod :(

+1

same problem here, on my previous installation it was working fine, but now is not adding the subscription anymore in the app.
I've tried subscribing from this docs page and it still works...
