Do not use API functions that are not listed in the API Reference Manual since they are private functions.
If an API function not listed in the API Reference Manual is used in the sample demo, it is probably a mistake in the demo or was unintentionally left out of the reference. If you encounter this type of issue, please contact Nintendo.
1.3.1 Prohibition Against Using API Functions Not Listed in the Reference
Guideline Item
API functions not listed in the API Reference Manual must not be used.
Test Method
In Master Editor, go to Partition Information → API Information, then go to the Display Filters dropdown, select Guideline Item Exists /API, and check what is displayed in the resulting list.
Pass/Fail Determination
Passes if no API functions are displayed that are not listed in the API Reference Manual.
