BUG: player animation is missing some frames

ezQuake version:
3.6.0 and up

OS/device including version:
Doesn't matter. happens in both renderers (classic and glsl)
AMD 6750xt,
but happens on NVIDIA and INTEL as well.
The game config doesn't have any impact. this happens in any config.

Describe the bug
From ezQuake version 3.6.0 and up (when the new renderer was introduced), the player model is missing some frames.
The animation of the player model is incomplete.

To Reproduce

  • Load any ezQuake version from 3.6.0
  • join a server which there is a player other than you. It helps if the player doesn't move, so you can see the player animation.
  • carefully look at the player and notice that the animation stops abruptly and goes back to the beginning (and repeats ofc).

Expected behavior
The animation continues, until the end of the frames, and then repeats.
To compare, load any ezQuake version earlier than 3.6.0, for example 3.2.2 or 3.2.3, OR any other client, for example FTE, fodquake.
and join the server and visually compare the difference.

only a video would help, and I don't have it.

Additional context
It might be a simple fix, since we know when this bug was introduced.
