Cannot click some buttons in internal browser

Recently, the StackExchange sites have started asking for Cookie acceptance verification, done by clicking a button on the page. The button shows up in the QuiteRSS browser, but clicking it has no effect except to show the usual visual effect of clicking a button - it does not change the state of cookie acceptance.

EDIT: The real problem is that none of the other links in the page can be clicked either - one cannot make the cookie button go away, and you cannot follow other links.
