In new dev video, they mentioned bringing Vanguard anti-cheat(running at kernel level) to League in late february/early march. Will it affect skinchangers?

Good question! I am still cautious by closing Vanguard anyways. I had my fair trouble of running cheats with Vanguard open in the background and it got me banned about a year ago for third party apps. I specifically opened a kernel driver cheat for Warzone and I forgot to close Vanguard before that :(

Some skins are not working fine like Zyra's W, Maokai's E. They used to work normally.

I believe third-party applications, including R3nzSkin, will certainly be unusable after the implementation of Vanguard. Well, it was a good ride! It made the game quite enjoyable to play.

Not really, there are still skin changers in Valorant. There will be skin changers for League, of course. But not all hope is lost, there is still a way to skin hack for free. You just have to find the closest community that Riot allows to modify files. 😉

Even tho i downloaded this in late 2023, I ve grown used to it that only until its gets patched that i start playing. And i don't buy the anti cheating narrative from riot they obviously know what they are doing they want to limit any attempt to alter their game in any way shape or from to generate whether it'd be for monetary reasons or for fun, as a matter of fact they made it clear again and again that even the slightest, not gameplay affecting bugs (ie the practice tool exploit that lets you have more than 1 player in pbe) that they will bust their asses off to take it down and fix it. Also the third party runes updaters and whatnot, they also made selectable runes and made it so the ward times itself which render the vision ping worthless. While lots of third party can reduce the gaming experience, personally I've never used those, shutting it off like that is honestly painful to sees since the guys at killer skins are doing amazing job with map skin and costume voice line that yasuo skin tho the red one is insane also the wheel chair yasuo guided by one is goated. Riot always wanted to be secretive about their stuff and honestly its not even riot at this point every big tech wants more information from people while giving the least feedback possible. But hey it is what it is hopefully these mofos out here find a way to crack the code.

The KillerSkins people are thinking of making some sort of workaround once Vanguard comes out. Do you think that if they find one, you could use similar code in R3nzskin? It's just if the killerskins people manage to find a workaround at all, but just a thought.

Riot is not against custom skins, they have stated that aswell. And on top of all theyre working with some creators that depend on skinchangers (skinspotlight for example) so they can continue doing their stuff

If a public piece of software employs a Vanguard bypass, cheat developers will reverse said software and use that bypass in their products.

It will not happen.

Well i'm trying to get the message across to the guy that he could update it to work of he wanted to. Custom skins and r3nz are essentially the same thing, they're not dead. Its just up to the creator to fix it up for this new patch. Vanguard isnt banning the software, R3nz is just outdated because its a new patch.

Use cslol-manager it work with Vanguard. Uninstall Vanguard in game R3nzskin work for 5-10 minutes

This DLL will not work with R3nzSkin. R3nzSkin will not longer work without a Vanguard bypass confirmed when Vanguard was uninstalled in game on PBE

Yeah it wont work directly no but maybe what is done in the code can be put into the r3nzskin .dll.
Im not much of a programmer so I dont know how that would be done rn but im sure its possible to implement it.

I saw a video of a shameless scripter, this vanguard is not infallible, just to start, I think that this idea of combining Runeforge's custom lol skin with r3nz would be possible to create something functional but I think the programmers either gave up or It's not even possible
