Control panel - Hurricane slider not in sync

The hurricane slider on the control panel is not in sync when there are more than one hurricane in the selected layer list.

Would you please provide steps to reproduce?
Remember the control panel only controls the topmost layers.

that explains what i am seeing. but here is how i got there.

add another hurricane advisory. i used the the cycle button on the control panel.

in the hurricane tray:

• deselect the topmost track
• select the other one

note that although there is a track showing, the control panel is indicating there isnt.
