Why is `/api/global` fetched on every page?

Full route: /api/global?populate[metaData][populate]=*&populate[navBar][populate]=*&populate[favicon][populate]=*
It's probably fine, but it seems like a lot of unnecessary calls, it's called ~1600 times for the build process, when it seems to be the same data
