[BUG] Rocknix crashes when put to sleep (RG353P)

Closed this issue · 3 comments

Describe the bug

I just installed Rocknix on the eMMC of my RG353P, but I have noticed a couple of problems, with the main one being that 75% of the time the OS crashes when I put the device to sleep.

How to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set the Device Suspend Mode to any mode (I think it's set to Mem by default, but it also crashes with Freeze or Default).
  2. Press the Power button to put the device to sleep.
  3. Press the Power button again to wake up the device.
  4. After doing that, you should see a line at the top left corner of the screen and the OS gets stuck there.

Information

  • ROCKNIX Version: 20240702
  • Hardware Platform: RG353P

Context

As I said before, the OS crashes when I wake up the device after putting it to sleep.

Will let the devs respond to this, but while the wiki says eMMC is supported I don't believe it is actively supported on devices that have a dedicated SD Card 1 slot for OS (which includes many of the Anbernic devices).

I think I had this issue on my Arc once, I did a factory reset and it worked again.

due to inactivity I am closing this.
