mmal vout has gone from Bullseye. It looks like there has been work on a v4l2 driver for the display. Could you point me to the commands/options required to replace the window, layer, transparency, transform, etc. controls from mmal

Same issue here. Now switched back to omxplayer and fkms because vlc just doesn't work reliable.

I couldn't find an option, and was required to switch to the Legacy driver to continue using window controls. It allowed mmal vout to continue to be used.
