Feature Request: Builds for Bionic Beaver

Builds for Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver would be much appreciated. As the latest LTS release, support is expected from Canonical through 2023.

Agreed. Testing an update from Mint 18.3 breaks OpenPHT (i.e. OpenPHT is the only thing holding me back from upgrading).

Much love for this project - I can't get along well with Kodi. Plex Media Player also stopped working for me - I really need this!

While it might be nice to wait for a release from the maintainers, the build Docker images have already been updated for Bionic.

Has anybody tried to compile a release for Bionic? I don't imagine we are going to get another official release with the dev's focused on creating v2.0.

openpht broken since I updated to 18.04. Disappointed no package yet.

for me its also broken after 18.04

Try converting an OpenPHT .deb package into an .AppImage package and see if that works. I hacked together a little tool for the task:

Check my post in the Plex forums how to build working OpenPHT 1.9 on Ubuntu Bionic (18.04 LTS)

Yes please if you could work on a new release for bionic version that would be great.
I've upgraded to Linux Mint 19.1 and the latest OpenPHT stopped working :(
Cheers
