Any reasons why Snickerstream will randomly drop in FPS?

It will just go to like 8 - 15 FPS while it usually runs at 40 +
I'd like to be able to stream games but hard to do with this happening. Any thoughts? It never loses any connection or anything, just has weird dips. Especially in Majora's Mask.
