Snickerstream Boots, Runs at 0 FPS, Then Crashes

Hi there! So, as the title suggests, I'm having an issue. When I try to connect to my 3DS, it runs for a few seconds, jumping between 1-7 fps, before dropping to 0 and crashing a few seconds after. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
