Form still submits on Firefox ESR 24.3 even if a max value is exceeded

I have multiple number input fields with max value as 30, but the form is still allowed to submit if the user put in a value >30. This issue occurs on Firefox ESR 24.3, but not on Chrome 33.0.1750.117 m.
