Thought about text box color

Hai guise,

We're trying to decide what to do about the background color of the text boxes. We're thinking they look a little "fierce" (in lack of a better term) with the headers also being white (or #eee, whatever). We thought about doing a gradient from light grey to almost white, but that might be a little too much gradient for one page. Any ideas about what we could do with either the background of the header or the text boxes to make it so the page doesn't look so monotonous? Do share.

wait, nvm, now we're not doing white headers anyway, so I don't think it matters anymore.
