Different backgrounds for each section

Currently, we have a fixed background, the jeweled image, but this is starting to look a little difficult to work with, especially considering some of the text can be hard to read against a multi-colored background. Can we consider experimenting with different backgrounds for different sections? The header can used the jeweled background image, but maybe flatter colors can be used for the text heavy areas like the schedule? @vpahwa, @redsn0w422 thoughts?

One thought I had for the schedule was adapting a card style background (like an offwhite) with dark purple and dark gold for text colors. I'll follow up later with more concrete ideas, but I just wanted to put this down formally
