I guess you closed as "no such issue"...
The (final config*.plist) files have had full bundle name for all KextsToPatch for quite some time.

Actually, further investigation showed the dot between Airport and Brcm4360 is valid for the binary.

Binary content not pertinent. Only CFBundleIdentifier in the Info.plist.
Which is: com.apple.driver.AirPort.Brcm4360
