Reboot patch not working

I just fixed my black screen with 11.3.0-36U. And now I can't boot any original cartridge. Why is that?
When I boot my cart, after the Nintendo 3DS logo is showed it keeps on a black screen.
I'm on Rei 11.3.0-36U now.
Are you using an Old 3ds, and are the carts using extended memory mode?
I just tested on my new 3ds with a non extended memory mode cartridge and it works fine.
I have an old 3DS and I'm trying with Pokémon Sun.

Try this. I reverted back to the old reboot patch that did work on 11.2. Should be a temp fix for the issue.

But it didn't work. It keeps showing a black screen after the 3DS logo after booting Pokémon Sun on cart.
I did this
Bought a 3DS with 11.2 and Reinand (used)
Formatted it
Updated to 11.3.0-36U
Got black screen brick
Downloaded the fix here for 11.3
It worked but I can't boot carts
Yeah, I was such an idiot for doing this.

I installed the Fre eShop and it works fine. The game I downloaded runs normally.
EDIT:
I tried Pokémon Red downloaded with Fre eShop and it worked.
But Super Mario Maker doesn't work (I plan to buy it anyway).
It seems like some games work...
But the cartridge doesn't work... yet...

Hello @CrimsonMaple l use menuhax+ctrbootmanager. Put rei and .dat into my SD card to boot EmuNAND. However, the cia version of Pokemon Sun and Super Mario Maker doesn't work normally, it goes to black screen. Then l use Luma3DS , it can run. So l report to you and l use old 3dsll with Rei 11.3.0-36J. Thank you for your effort.
Looks like its an issue with the reboot patch on 11.3. Because this only affects games with extended memory mode. Thanks for telling me about this!

When I boot my 3DS without an SD card it goes black screen forever. Can I unbrick it some day?

I dont have an old 3ds to test with, but everything works fine on n3ds ofc

Yes, n3ds is unaffected due to not needing a reboot patch.

excuse me do i need to use reinand 5.0 to update to 11.3? or old rei just fine? just to be safe
I compiled a build here. This is the only version that will work on 11.3. For future support please go to the official source release on gbatemp. This is not the place to ask for questions like this.

Reboot patch works on local fork. Will not push, until I am fully ready to make an update.
