Database Auth issue?

Not sure if anyone has reported this but, any CID's that have a matching digits get auto added.
For example:
My CID is P6,
Someone in my server made an account called "firmholdings" and once they added CID "P61509" to it; it auto adds "P6" CID to it also.
Is there something I can change in the DB or the way it only looks for the specific ID Only?
