Rick, I am interested in building a DSL to extend C#, this is a great start. does it run in dotnet 5 and Blazor, ?

No - this only works in full framework as the APIs have changed or are not available there. I haven't checked recently but in the .NET Core 3.x days there were no comparable APIs available to do this in Core.
