Enhance symbology and business logic documentation to accommodate all three versions of RAVE

Opened this issue · 4 comments

Everyone in the @Riverscapes/riverscape-project-curators can take some roll in this. However, I'm going to ask @Cashe93 to take the first stab at documenting this in symbology.md, which shows up here. Please:

  • Add three sections for Q, Arc and Web, and reorganize page
  • Populate the QGIS symbology instructions based on your experience here.
  • Add a subsection to QGIS for converting from ArcGIS *.lyr to *.qml using SLYR here based on #152
  • #144
  • Update a subsection to Arc instructions for going from *.qml to *.lyr
  • Update Arc Instructions here

I ask everyone else in @Riverscapes/riverscape-project-curators to take the time to update these instructions to be helpful for all of us.

@Cashe93 it looks like @MattReimer might have started the WebRAVE for you here to borrow form in addition to 115

@joewheaton, I apologize that its taken me so long to get to this. The documents to edit are the ones found in the attached link, correct?

Also, I can't figure out how to test sites locally. Do any of the @Riverscapes/riverscape-project-curators have experience with this?

You want to check out:
