Uninstalled Soundflower, but residual effects remain

I am running OSX Sierra. I installed Soundflower 2.0b2 and thought it was working, but the sound was garbled and one track was missing in my browser and other programs using sound like Audacity and Quicktime. iTunes was fine. I uninstalled Soundflower, but the problems remains. I found that in Audio Midi Setup, in the Built-in Output device, the problem arises when the dB values are exactly the same, but if I separate the values some, the garbling gradually goes away and the missing channel appears. I have this fix, but is there anyway to restore it to working properly? Any ideas about what is going on?
