Chapter Structure:

  • I adore the structure of having so many curated, external readings that range from practical examples to academic articles and then referencing them in the exercises
  • This might be even better if there was 1-2 sentences of annotation for each recommended article to intrigue readers and set expectations
  • The “skim-ability” of key packages/functions at the beginning of the chapters is also very nice. It can be so challenging sometimes trying to remember the name of something you read about but being unable to look it back up.
  • I really enjoy the ‘Plan, Simulate, etc.’ framework and the consistent structure of how it is laid out and applied throughout these early chapters. The repetition is just the right amount to stick in one’s head without being redundant, and I look forward to seeing how this framework is expanded in the subsequent EDA and modeling sections.

Added a sentence of annotation for every recommended reading.
