wifi connection issue

Spent some time with the Rokid again today, however I am not able to get the device to update the firmware. It gives me a network error every time I try to initiate the update, saying "Please check WiFi setting". I know I am connected to wifi correctly though, as I am able to use the projection tool to wirelessly cast the screen of the headset to my pc., can you please advise?
