Add support to release aarch64 wheels
Opened this issue · 4 comments
On aarch64, pip install rook builds the wheels from source code and then install it. I was looking to add aarch64 wheel support for rook but I was not able to find out the source code repository for rook. This repository looks similar to it but I am not sure whether this is rook repository or not. @adilrookout, could you please help me with this?
Hi @odidev, the source repository for the Python agent is not open source (yet), but we should be able to add binary wheels for aarch64
, depending on your requirements.
I would love to set up a quick call to understand better your requirements and how Rookout can serve you :)
Hi @LiranLast,
I work with odidev. Our only requirement is to get aarch64 wheel support enabled. :)
We (Arm) look for ways to help open source projects with their aarch64 support (debug, test, enablement, etc.). We would like to help in anyway we can, however, it sounds like we would have to wait until the source is open sourced for this.
Any ideas on when this might happen?
Hi Julio,
We haven't made any decisions on when this will be open-sourced yet, and I'm afraid we can't commit to any specific timeline for ARM wheels.
I understand. In any case, we will keep an eye on this project. :)
