Just says "0. Connecting..." doesn't get any further!
Current TV Software version is: 05.50.10

I have the same problem, webOS TV version 5.4.2-25 (jericurl-jebil) on OLED65CX9LA

Looks like it was covered in the README, that it is no longer possible to jailbreak using the same vulnerability

https://github.com/RootMyTV/RootMyTV.github.io/blob/main/README.md

Update (2022-12-24): The vulnerabilities used by RootMyTV (both v1 and v2) have been patched by LG. RootMyTV is unlikely to work on firmware released since mid-2022. If you get a "Denied method call "download" for category "/"" error, your TV is patched. If your TV reboots but Homebrew Channel is not installed, it is likely patched. Firmware downgrades are no longer possible without already having root access.

UPD:

I've used a manual approach listed here https://gist.github.com/throwaway96/e811b0f7cc2a705a5a476a8dfa45e09f

Ohh, damn, same on 5.50.10, so we now have to wait and hope someone finds another way to root it.

@ssbarnea hey, you could try manual provided above, it will require a little bit more patience but the result is the same.

@DavidBuchanan314 ,
Please change the patched version in the readme for 4.0 to be 4.3.0 rather than 4.4.2
Tested on an OLED55C8PTA, shows WebOS Version as 4.3.0-9806 (goldilocks-goodbang)
