Mario Talent Studio Face and Saving

I've been having problems with Mario Talent Studio, when I design the face the image gets glitched when I leave that part, either looking like a black void or a mess of textures. Also I'm not sure how to save and reload stuff in game. Can someone please help me? Sorry for being a noob.

Can you try using parallel or angrylion-rdp-plus as video plugin? Make sure you also have parallel selected as RSP plugin

I figured it out, unfortunately when I save a talent to the save area, then change to a default, then try to reload the original the original isn't there. It doesn't save.
