Quickly jumping to the simple class overview like F12 does by default right there inside VS is seriously useful and way more often needed than browsing and digesting the entire source for that class.
Could you please consider changing the hotkey, or at the very least allow me to change the hotkey?

I endorse this idea, because when I use resharper - F12 doesn't work. So it would be great to change this shortcut.

Yes, allowing the hotkey to be configurable would be ideal but at the least change it so we have the option of going to the metadata view (default) and the reference sources view.

I hope to have F12 to go to metadata, Ctrl + F12 or Shift + F12 or Alt + F12 to go to the source.

As mentioned in #4 this would be fixed by implementing a command.
That way people can choose to assign F12 to this new command if they wish, or assign another shortcut.
