Citra emulator for Mediatek and other processors

Hello guys,
I'm using Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro and as you all know it has a Mediatek processor. I've no idea about programming and coding but I was informed the citra emulator works only on Snapdragon smartphones!
Is it true or it's due to another parameter?
I felt so sad when I realized I can't play my favourite pokemon games!
In case it's available for other processors but Snapdragon, please let me know!
