Crash on startup

Citra crashes when booting Fire Emblem Awakening. Shows a black screen for a couple seconds(screenshots provided) and then crashes.

All I do is open the file, it looks as though it will read it, but it crashes.

  • Device: motorola, XT1635-01 (addison_verizon)

  • Version: 8.0.0

  • OpenGL ES: 3.2

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 2.02 GHz

Do I need to list any further info? Idk how to do logs.

Is this bug related to the publicly available version of SachinVin's Citra, or the closed-source one? If you're using the publicly available one, check out this version instead: https://github.com/weihuoya/citra/releases

Just tried downloading this, but it won't work... I download the app and press install, and it loads and says app not installed.

A few things that may help:

  1. Turn off Play Protect in the Google Play Store.
  2. In Settings, allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
