Date not saving correctly on dashboard

When setting a date with the date-picker, the date defaults back to 01/01/1970 in vtc-members page and user profile page.

Please look into the plugin date-picker @roadking999 and I will look into issues that can be involved when storing that.

Please note the icon missing on the right too.
