Get rid of `python_bitcoinrpc` dependency?

python-bitcoinrpc is unmaintained (look at the open pull requests), contains known bugs (for example, doesn't support / character in passwords). But it's pretty simple package, maybe it's better to just add that code directly to SatSale project?
There seems to be more recent version in HWI project. Also, there are alternatives that can maybe be copied from JoinMarket (https://github.com/JoinMarket-Org/joinmarket-clientserver/blob/master/jmclient/jmclient/jsonrpc.py).
