Online/offline status will appear the same for all chats

issue: If you go to the friends page and enter a chat with someone who is online, when you go to any other chat they will also appear online (even if they are not online) this is the same for if you go to friends and enter a chat with someone who is offline, when you enter any other chat your friend will appear offline
How to replicate:
- Go to friends page
- Click on friend you want to chat with (note if they are online or offline)
- After being brought to that chat switch to a different one and notice how online status does not change
